Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire high-performing software engineering teams focused on digital solutions.
  • Drive innovation in digital solutions, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into overall business strategies.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices for digital projects.
  • Collaborate closely with C-level executives to integrate technology solutions into overarching business strategies.
  • Manage and optimize large budgets – continually assessing optimization and rationalization opportunities.
  • Lead the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the insurance industry.
  • Oversee large-scale, complex software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the software engineering team.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles overseeing large software engineering teams.
  • Proven success in driving technology initiatives, with a focus on digital solutions.
  • Passion for automation and continuous integration & delivery of web and mobile software products.
  • Well-versed in architecture and agile development methodologies.
  • Experience managing large budgets.
  • High degree of emotional intelligence & self-awareness.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset.
