The Company:

MPAQ Automation Inc. is a supplier of software and plant automation systems to concrete producers. We maintain a flat organizational structure and a friendly environment. We react quickly to the needs of our customers, use the latest technologies and provide outstanding customer support.


Our products consist of plant automation systems designed to control plant equipment (gates, valves, conveyors, etc), as well as dispatch systems to schedule & delivery orders, monitor vehicles via GPS, and optimize production workload across multiple locations.


The Job:

B2B Technical Sales Representative, with the following job duties:

  • Generate leads, promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based style.
  • Conduct webbased and inperson presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Work closely with marketing to recognize and promote sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with product managers on feature requests from customers.
  • Assist in market analysis and research. Monitor competitors' products to keep abreast of competitive issues or developments.
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and other events in Canada and the USA as needed.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience in the industrial production sector
  • Superior communication skills in English as a primary language
  • Postsecondary technical education in a relevant field (electrical or mechanical)
  • Ability to navigate the sales process from lead generation to closing
  • Aptitude for problemsolving and determining solutions for customers
  • Proficiency using CRM software, Google Suite, Zoom meetings, and other office software
  • Selfmotivated, energetic, well organized, resultsoriented, and able to work both in a team and independently.
  • Valid driver's license
  • It would be an asset to have:
  • Background in automation or project management
  • Experience in the concrete industry
  • Spanish as a second language

Compensation and benefits:
