POSITION OVERVIEW:


As a vital member of our operations team, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules and project deliverables.

This person will work closely with our Sales and Operations departments to effectively communicate with project stakeholders providing updates and resolving issues that arise.

The projected hire date for the position would be in March of 2024.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain work schedules for technicians
  • Working with the operations manager, plan for project timelines and deliverables and schedule technicians and assets accordingly
  • Interact with engineering firms to deliver traffic management plans and strategies
  • Plan, organize, and oversee rental scheduling and installation
  • Working with the warehouse team, monitor all rental product inventory maintenance, and availability
  • Work with the operations team to resolve any logisticsrelated issues
  • Ensure all rental orders are accurate and scheduled in a timely manner
  • Track, analyze, and forecast rental scheduling trends where possible
  • Dispatch technicians to work sites and trouble shoot question and issues
  • Interact with estimators, managers, and technicians regarding projects
  • Ensure safety paperwork and documentation is completed properly by technicians
  • Assist the estimating team in the development of work schedules for tenders and proposals
  • Visit customer worksites as required
  • Make rental deliveries and pickups where necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12 years of experience in a coordinator, dispatcher, or customer service environment
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Valid provincial drivers license and clean drivers abstract
  • Highly organized and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Safety conscious, valid safety tickets or designations considered an asset
  • Experience towing trailers considered an asset
  • Preferably, experience in traffic control or construction

HOURS OF WORK:

Daily schedule may vary depending upon operational needs.

However, general office hours would be 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday although extended hours and overtime may be necessary during the busy season (May - October).
