Key Responsibilities:
Support sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles Model the financial business case associated with each sales opportunity Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements Collect and document competitive intelligenceMust Have Skills:
Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and IT Service Management Deep knowledge of BMC IT Service Management tool suite and competitor tools BA/BS degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base Fluent communication skills in order to speak and write professionally in both English and FrenchProfessional Skills:
Proven track record in developing new relationships with customers and ability to translate client business needs into solutions Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in French and English Creative, independent thinker with strong business ethics and integrity Positive leadership and team-oriented skill set Self-starter with ability to build relationships, communicate product knowledge, and close deals quickly Ability to solve problems, with critical thinking, judgment, and strong decision-making skills Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization
