Your role:

You will take charge of a variety of administrative (40%) and accounting tasks (60%).

You will be reporting to Avery Weigh-Tronix Canada Assistant Controller, Jane.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and invoice management (60%)

Manage the end-to-end process of accounts payable including:

  • Creating new vendors in the system (KBM)
  • Manage Invoices:
  • Verify invoices from suppliers
  • Distinguish between invoices with and without purchase orders
  • Identify proper GL accounts, and cost centers.
  • Code and Post invoices
  • Ensuring the smooth running of payment processes.

Customer and administrative support (20%)

  • Engage in adhoc administrative tasks, including reporting, data entry, file maintenance, and correspondence
  • Manage office supplies, uniform and PPE orders.
  • Support regional operations with document translation proofreading.

Projects assistance (20%)

  • Assist with regional projects, such as multisite certification and calibration
  • Provide support for special projects as needed for the teams.
  • Collaboratively backup teammates as needed while they are away.

Your Profile

  • Valuable experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Capacity and willingness to accomplish administrative tasks as an important part of the role


Bilingual
  • Fluency in both French and English (required)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational skills, with a systematic approach to tasks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a customerfocused attitude.

Nice to have

  • Analytical mindset with a knack for problemsolving and resourcefulness.
  • Experience with KBM software
  • Knowledge of the Canadian industrial weigh scale industry advantageous, but not essential.
