Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Admistrative assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure smooth logistical coordination, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and coordinate deliveries with customers and logistics partners.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery schedules and handle any logistical challenges.
  • Maintain communication with suppliers and customers regarding order status.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues
  • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation.
  • Manage phone calls and emails, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain and update customer databases.
  • Basic accounting entries (QuickBooks)

Requirements:

  • Bilingualism in French and English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the floral or wholesale industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
