Production Utility Butcher/grinder Operator

Summary of Requirements:
A Production Butcher is the heart and soul of the Two Rivers Production Team. Knife skills are a requirement but general interest in sustainable food systems and animal agriculture are a plus.
They are physically capable of lifting at least 50lbs, can safely operate production equipment and comes to work every day with an open mind to learn.
Role Description
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Utility Butcher.
is responsible for completing production tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor in a timely manner, maintaining sanitation protocols, and supporting the overall production capacity of the team.
They hold the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Keeping a "customer service" attitude in all aspects of the job including maintaining open lines of communication with other departments and coworkers;
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and hygienic work area including proper FOODSAFE handling procedures and practices;
- Ensure all tasks are completed as assigned and in a timely manner.
- Come to work every day with an open mind and a desire to learn.
- Keep a no job too small attitude.
Tasks:
- Operate production machinery as trained and assigned
- Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces as needed
- Room washdown and garbage removal
- Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
