About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at The David Sullivan Group of Companies LTD.-IGA#016. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Meat Processing: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, as well as grind meats to meet customer demand.
  • Meat Display and Sales: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and sell meats to customers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual cutting utensils, power grinders, and slicing machines to efficiently process meat products.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure seamless operations and high-quality products.
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at The David Sullivan Group of Companies LTD.-IGA#016, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
