Butcher

Sebastian & Co, Vancouver's original craft butcher, is seeking a skilled butcher to join its team in downtown and West Vancouver locations.

We're looking for a passionate individual with excellent knife skills and a genuine enthusiasm for food. Experience as a professional butcher is a plus, but we're also willing to train the right candidate with culinary training and a solid understanding of butchery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Highly technical butchering and presentation of meat
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Preparing fresh sausages
  • Creating duck confit and marinades
  • Educating customers on the value of dry-aged meat
  • Sharing cooking techniques and culinary ideas with customers
  • Operating heavy-duty butchery equipment, including bandsaw, mixer/grinder, and patty machine
