Job Description:
Working as an HR Generalist means you'll take charge of various human resources duties, such as recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. To excel in this role, you'll need to be proactive in supporting HR initiatives and systems, offering guidance on policies, engaging in HR projects, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct recruitment activities like crafting job ads, managing postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and handling hiring processes.
- Manage compensation and benefit plans to maintain competitive salary standards and ensure benefits align with organizational policies.
- Participate in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, including maintaining employee handbooks and policy manuals.
- Handle employee grievances, conduct disciplinary meetings discreetly and effectively.
- Support business growth by nurturing, engaging, and motivating employees.
- Foster a positive work environment by enhancing employee satisfaction and organizational well-being.
Additionally, you'll oversee employee onboarding, organize training programs, offer HR-related support to employees, promote conflict-free workplaces, assist in payroll tasks, prepare HR-related reports, and maintain employee records.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience as an HR Generalist or Coordinator.
- Thorough knowledge of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Strong HR administration and people management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
