YOUR ROLE


As the Individual Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for quoting, implementation, maintenance and client service for all individual insurance products from start to finish while creating a WOW Experience for our individual insurance clients and Partners.


YOUR IMPACT

  • You will perform basic underwriting function and produce accurate quotes for Soloplus products.
  • You will review new sold documents for all required information for implementation.
  • You will manage and code multiple systems with relevant data and ensure high level of accuracy in the implementation of new Soloplus members and/or ported coverage members.
  • You will understand the various systems and platforms and the interdependencies of systems used to deliver service to clients.
  • You will work with Claims Payors and other internal departments to ensure a smooth "Go Live" for Soloplus new clients.
  • You will resolve member questions or concerns in a timely customer centric fashion.
  • You will work collaboratively with all GH departments, Partners, and members.
  • You will create correspondence for members as required.
  • You will provide knowledge and education within GroupHEALTH on Soloplus, Parachute or ported coverage processes as required.
  • You will make process and training improvement suggestions.
  • You will maintain and update process documentation.
  • You will perform amendments when required in collaboration with underwriting, insurer, and claims payor as required.
  • You will mentor and train new Soloplus team members, including updating training plans and discussing wins and challenges with manager.
  • You will support annual renewal activities.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • First 30 Days_
  • You will engage in 1on1 training sessions with current Soloplus team members.
  • You will understand Soloplus & other optional product offerings (Parachute, Ported coverage, etc.)
  • You will review of training material and resources as it pertains to systems and processes.
  • You will demonstrate initiative and willingness to learn new skills and improve existing skills.
  • You will begin to set up of assigned new Soloplus member with mentor.
  • You will perform simple inforce service tasks for Soloplus and other optional products (terminations, claims inquiries, updates to member information).
  • First 60 Days_
  • You will easily determine locations for forms and resource material pertaining to Soloplus.
  • You will have a good understanding of GroupHEALTH Soloplus & optional benefit and product offerings.
  • You will become the master the setup of new Soloplus members on all required systems (WEBS, CRM, CS).
  • You will become the master the maintenance of Parachute members on the Oliver platform.
  • You will complete all learning tasks on training plan.
  • First 90 Days_
  • You will be responsibility and ownership of Soloplus and optional product offerings (Parachute, Ported coverage).
  • Consistent achievement of reaching a target SLA of 90% and developing promoters of GroupHEALTH.
  • You will have a good understanding of our systems (WEBS online benefit system, CRM casing system, Oliver platform, ClaimSecure eProfile, etc.).
  • You will have a good understanding of Soloplus plans and how they work, including quoting, setup, inforce service, billing, and claims inquiries.

THIS IS YOU

  • You are a post secondary graduate with a degree in a related field.
  • You are client service focus.
  • You have the ability to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
  • You have previous experience with Microsoft Office.
  • You have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You have the ability to successfully mentor and support others.
  • You are an excellent communicator.
  • You have the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
