If you are a dynamic Rehabilitation Assistant with customer service experience interested in personal and professional growth, CBI Health has an excellent opportunity for you to meet these goals, supported by one of the largest healthcare networks in Canada.

As a full-time Rehabilitation Assistant / Client Experience Associate at our Cambridge Centre for Health and Wellness, you will be responsible for the clinic experience of clients as well as responsible for assisting the Physiotherapists with their caseload.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day


In this position, half of your working hours will be dedicated to a Rehabilitation Assistant position and the other half you will work as a Clinic Experience Associate.


Rehabilitation Assistant duties:

  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
  • Assist with the Physiotherapist's caseloads
  • Assemble chart packages and barcode charts for offsite storage
  • Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
  • Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards

Clinic Experience Associate duties:

  • Create a welcoming environment for clients, guests, team members and stakeholders
  • Solve problems, anticipate challenges, barriers or areas of friction mitigate or solve before they occur whenever possible and always as soon/quickly as possible
  • Provide personalized interactions with clients, actively seek to understand what matters most to clients and communicating to the the team so everyone is aware
  • Demonstrate superior customer service
  • Educate and support the client in engaging with digital tools and resources such as the Client Portal and online booking
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records and personal and personal health information at all times
  • Facilitate effective flow within the clinic

What you need to be successful

  • A Kinesiology degree, PTA/OTA diploma or international Physiotherapy degree
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate connections within the workplace
