Job Title: Registered Physiotherapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group in Cambridge, Ontario. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with residents to develop personalized treatment plans that promote mobility and overall health.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing physiotherapy assessments and creating treatment plans with measurable goals for retirement home care residents. You will provide clinical physiotherapy treatments, educate residents and their families on healthcare management, and ensure proper documentation of treatments and progress reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and re-assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality clinical physiotherapy treatments to residents.
  • Educate residents and their families on health care management, including self-care needs and physical and emotional health.
  • Document treatments and progress reports accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants and students/interns, providing clear instructions for rehabilitation programs and exercises.
Requirements:
  • Registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Professional License Insurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills for effective resident and family interactions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and team collaboration.
  • Experience working in a Retirement home is an asset.
  • ADP authorization is required.
  • A current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is necessary.
