Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Arvan Rehab Group. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve the mobility and overall health of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and re-assessments of residents to identify their needs and develop effective treatment plans with clear and measurable goals.
  • Physiotherapy Services: Provide high-quality physiotherapy treatments to residents, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to improve their mobility and function.
  • Education and Support: Educate residents and their families on health care management, including self-care needs, physical and emotional health, and other relevant topics.
  • Documentation and Communication: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress reports for each resident, and communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise Physiotherapy Assistants (PTAs) and students/interns, providing clear instructions and guidance to implement rehabilitation programs, group exercises, or one-on-one exercises.
Requirements
  • Registration and Licensure: Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Professional Insurance: Must have Professional License Insurance.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and listening skills while interacting with residents or their families, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Experience working in a Retirement home would be a definite asset.
  • ADP Authorization: ADP authorization is REQUIRED.
  • Criminal Record Check: A current police check for the Vulnerable Sector is required.
