A Day in the Life

Provide leadership for our Training, Quality & Development Team

  • Foster collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning to deliver superior client service and maximize employee engagement. Coach, challenge, motivate and proactively manage all team members to deliver best in class service.
  • Responsible for the training, development, implementation, and management of team and individual Goals & Objectives that are aligned with the BSC goals of the organization.
  • Collaborate with team members across the operations organization to develop and implement plans for increasing employee success using eLearning courses/programs. Provide guidance in the development of all training materials, using delivery methods to include eLearning, distance learning, Instructor Led Training, Learning Communities, and collaborative learning, as appropriate. Content materials should have clear goals and focus learners on learning objectives.

  • Implement clear overall quality strategy with scalable processes, tools and systems that allow efficient monitoring of performance versus target.
  • Establish robust quality auditing processes for training programs, ensuring adherence to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to measure the effectiveness of training interventions and identify areas for improvement for trainers, trainees, and operational areas.
  • Implement corrective measures and enhancements to elevate the quality and impact of training initiatives.
Document project outcomes for internal and external stakeholders. Track success of training and its effectiveness as it relates to the individual job functions throughout Operations.

  • Support and guide organization around the addition of general content for training programs.

Other training tools may need development as follows:

  • Support, enhance, and produce scripts for training.
  • Update training documents on a consistent basis.
  • Evaluate and revise training tools as appropriate
  • Ensure a consistent theme, format, and branding.
  • Facilitates partnerships with departmental representatives to identify and meet training needs to maximize employee performance and meet company strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing Departments in the development and ongoing use of consistent instructional format, theme, and branding of content for all organization's training programs to achieve the right look and feel of the training materials and content. Maintains knowledge of copyright and trademark rules for writing and delivering content.


Gauge training effectiveness and ensure acquired knowledge by our team members is not only gained but also applied, retained, and seamlessly integrated into the work environment.


  • Work with the Training & Development teams to develop structures for eLearning that facilitate employee success and engagement while driving student success outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Training & Development, Human Resources Management, Business, Education, or a related field required.
  • 35 years of experience in instructional technology, training & development, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
  • 3 years using content development software, learning management systems, content delivery systems, corporate learning systems, or other similar systems.
  • 3+ years leading direct teams preferred.
  • Certifications in training and development, such as CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance) or CPTM (Certified Professional in Training Management), are desirable.
