How you will make an impact:
The Manager, Learning & Development is responsible for the planning, oversight and execution of learning programs and initiatives that strengthen organizational skills, capabilities, compliance, and performance.
As a
Manager, Learning & Development, you will:
- Instructional design mastery; Using the ADDIE model (or similar) in your design and develop when implementing learning for both face-to-face and online courses
- Manage internal instructional design projects, external partners, and SMEs in creating appropriate content for courses that may include video, photos, audio, tests, quizzes, and interactive activities
- Develop curriculum to support a bestinclass employee experience and a strong onboarding program
- Expert in the design of leadership and frontline workshops focused on exceptional service, retail and customer experiences
- Solid experience in the design and facilitation of workshops supporting multilevels of an organization
- Serve as program manager for key enterprisewide content
- Consult on and configure course and program technical design and implementation that translates employee needs
- Analyze learning needs, tasks, and styles, to develop endtoend and recommend endtoend learning
- Using data, provide direction and guidance in learningconcept design to support organizational goal
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction or related field.
- Hospitality experience in restaurant, hotel is desirable
- 35 years of professional experience actively developing learning content across multiple platforms (including mobile).
- Experience successfully deploying and sustaining learning projects and programs into production.
- Proficiency in authoring eLearning software such as Articulate, Moodle, IsEasy, Camtasia or similar technologies.
- Experience in Learning Management Systems with gamification and microlearning expertise
- High level proficiency in using MS Office suite & webbased services such as WebEx, Teams, and similar technologies.
- Strong group facilitation & presentation skills at all levels
- Available to work weekdays, evenings and weekends with a potential of 1520% travel
