The Event Chef de Partie plays a key role in the back of house team and is accountable for the overall success of the Events department.

Acting as a role model, alongside the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for guiding and developing cooks new to their station.

As an experienced culinary talent, the CDP thoroughly understands the workings of each station, how it interacts with other stations and what is required for its' success.

The CDP prepares high-quality, delicious food made in a thoughtful, consistent, and timely manner. The individual in this position thrives on surpassing guest expectations and providing an incredible culinary experience.

  • You have been in the industry for a few years and have worked in a professional kitchen for at least
  • You have experience supervising and are able to coordinate the activities of direct reports. CDP experience is an asset.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Play a leading role within the kitchen operations by organizing and ensuring consistency across the kitchen
  • Act as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors; embody a great culture, and have a highlevel of engagement
  • Ensure food handling practices are used consistently through proper plating, timing, storage, and preparation
  • Follow Chef's lead to accommodate special requests, dietary restrictions and/or allergies of guests understanding the importance of adhering to established guidelines
  • Ability to always act with integrity and honesty, take responsibility for decisions and actions
  • Demonstrate a commitment to further develop skills and knowledge and initiate action to accomplish goals
  • Demonstrate thoughtful service to all internal and external customers
