The Accounts Payable Assistant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and is a role for ensuring accurate payment to suppliers.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Match purchase orders confirming prices and quantity to vendors' invoices.
  • Accurate data entry of invoices into bank system
  • Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and document
  • Pay vendors by verifying invoice of materials or services; scheduling and preparing cheques;
  • Respond to vendors inquires in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage both digital and hard copy filing systems for payables
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned by your immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • With at least 2 years working experience in Accounts Payable
  • Detail oriented with organized skills, and ability to multitask
  • Passionate about doing accounting work
  • A good understanding of retail processes
  • Wiliness and ability to sustainably learning
  • Selfdriven and an excellent team player
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
