Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing invoices, data entry, coding, and reconciliations. You will also be responsible for tracking, tracing, and e-filing documents, as well as other administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Review, code, and enter accounts payable invoices into our system.
  • Payment Preparation: Prepare and provide necessary backups, including approvals, for weekly payment runs.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile, code, and process monthly rent payments.
  • Document Management: File invoices and other documents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Vendor Communication: Research and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors.
  • Excel Uploads: Upload weekly Excel invoice files.
  • Vendor Reconciliation: Prepare monthly vendor reconciliations.
  • Internal Support: Assist internal departments with accounts payable inquiries.
  • Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process in relation to accounts payable.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum one to two years' work experience in an Accounts Payable environment.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in business, commerce, accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Skills: Good basis of accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, strong data entry skills, strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and D365 software.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team environment and committed to accepting and meeting deadlines.
