JOB DESCRIPTION

Shift time:
Part-time 12 Hours per week

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the CEO with various administrative duties
  • Daily posting of entries into the accounting system providing daily cash flow updates
  • Act in a full cycle accounting role including AP, AR, Bank/Credit Card/Prepaids
  • Use of QuickBooks to keep track and make monthly, weekly, and C.O.D payments
  • Monthly reconciliation of expenses and accounts, bookkeeping skills
  • Analyze Data and create Reports and presentations.
  • Using the company's software to enter inventory data and process payments
  • Be responsible for payroll processing, including not limited to; biweekly payroll, tracking vacation/sick pay, and benefit changes
  • Prepare, calculate, remit, and reconcile all payroll source deductions, WSIB, EHT, DPSP/RRS
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness, and keep files organized
  • Report any problems to supervisor
  • Other tasks supervisor assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office)
  • QuickBooks Online Knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to read/write in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
  • Organizing and planning skills

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 12 per week
