Our Montreal office is looking for an Event Manager to complete its team and help it achieve the local growth targets.

The role also comes with various development opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Management of the events team and recruitment of employees required for the realization of each event
  • Responsible for the successful execution of events in compliance with deadlines and ensures the achievement of the established objectives.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers and partners
  • Participates in the development of employee recognition events internally, in collaboration with the human resources team
  • Ensure supervision of events related to important causes supported by the firm
  • Ensure a presence of events on the various traditional and digital media platforms.
  • Ensures monitoring and surveillance of current trends
  • Brings new ideas to innovate and create new events
  • Plan, supervise and control all the implementation of all internal and external events, from kickoff to postmortem.
  • Establish a methodology to measure the ROI on all aspects of events (impact of the event, budget, time spent etc.).
  • Build the budgetary framework of the various projects and ensure rigorous management.
  • Ensure the recruitment of event suppliers
  • Ensures the evaluation, training and management of employees under his/her responsibility.

What you bring to this role:

  • University degree in marketing communications events.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in a similar position.
  • Professional services experience a definite asset.
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) and strong command of English (written and spoken) in order to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven priority management and problem solving skills.
  • High level of adaptability and organization and strong ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
