The role:

As the Senior Manager, People Partnerships, you will oversee a team of People & Planning Managers (HRBPs) and collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention. You will focus on fostering strong relationships with leaders, aligning initiatives with business objectives, and driving programs that improve organizational efficiency and employee performance as we grow.

  • Lead and guide a team of People and Planning Managers in executing People strategies and initiatives.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and business unit heads to understand their needs and develop solutions that drive success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement talent management strategies and programs.
  • Utilize Jobber's People strategy to drive performance through existing programs and develop new solutions.
  • Offer expert advice on People matters and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
  • Drive change management efforts to cultivate a high-performance culture.
  • Lead projects to enhance employee engagement and performance.
  • Analyze People data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide insights on the evolving tech landscape.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in People business partnering or leadership roles, preferably in a growing tech company.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business needs into People initiatives.
  • Knowledge of best practices, employment laws, and employee relations.
  • Experience in change management, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Resilience and innovation in overcoming challenges.
