About the role

The purpose of the Managing Director is a technical development role to lead all aspects of an Industrial and Logistics regional line of business and/or portfolio of industrial commercial properties, clients, tenants, staff, and services to generate and maintain maximum profitability. Emphasis will be on integration of a variety of service lines for new business development and growing market share. Leading strategy role in building a diverse team dedicated to improvement of business operations.

What you'll do

• Build technical project plan by coordinating with variable Industrial & Logistics project management, accounts, and I&L Project Management... Divisional Directors

• Strategize to assure efficiencies within the project plan to mitigate risk

• Manage I&L Principal Project team to drive efficiencies and integration with I&L accounts

Business Operations: Ensures the integration of all business operations functions such as: sales, marketing, finance, operations, project management, MIS, legal, and human resources.

Builds strong business operations that formulates, negotiates, and implements contracts with the client and vendors.

Business Development: Analyzes financial performance indicators and market area activity. Targets key markets/prospects for business growth opportunities. Generates powerful Proposals and makes convincing presentations to achieve new business. Develops and maintains strong positive relationships with existing clients to ensure high satisfaction level.

Financial Performance: Prepares short- and long-range strategic plans, priorities, objectives, and the annual budget for a regional portfolio. Effectively understands and coordinates financial accounting and reporting, identifying mid-year trends and re-forecasting as indicated.

Leadership: Creates, communicates, and supervises the vision, mission, strategy, objectives, business plan, budget, policies, and operating plans. Serves as a change agent for business improvements.

Conducts and maintains relationships with industry and trade associations, vendors and professional organizations. Clearly supports others by providing transparent, open, two-way communication.

Human Capital and Recruitment: Effective recruit, select, manage performance, develop, and retain of successful management staff to carry out the organization's mission. Empower peers to build a dynamic team that is viewed by as highly productive and industry best.

• Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university required. Master's degree (MA, MS, or MBA) preferred.

• A minimum of ten (10) years comprehensive experience in commercial real estate project management.

• Expertise in construction sequencing methods

• Experience in leading a diverse workforce including sales, and operations.

• Fosters a strong service-orientation and an "advisory role" in client relationships.

• Solid understanding of Industrial & Logistics sector with technical knowledge/capabilities.

Equal Pay Disclaimer CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Managing Director-Industrial & Logistics Sector position is $200,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Managing Director-Industrial & Logistics Sector is $220,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
