We are seeking a Sales Manager specialized in the Feed and Grain Industry to join our team in Canada, the largest subsidiary in North America.
If you are someone who wants to contribute to finding smarter ways to utilize agricultural resources and reduce food waste in order to meet the increasing global food demand, then this opportunity is for you
The Sales Manager will have the flexibility to work from a home office with occasional travel required. Reporting to the Sales Director of Feed and Grain, you will play a crucial role in driving sales performance within the territory.
Tasks
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring overall sales targets are met to maximize customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with a team to achieve segment budget responsibilities
- Developing sales strategies for key accounts
- Creating and managing a territory plan with measurable goals
- Maintaining accurate records using CRM system
- Effective communication with internal teams
- Providing input on competition and pricing
- Participating in local and national trade shows
About you
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in business-to-business sales
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Experience in technical product sales preferred
- Background in the dairy industry
- Skills in cross-selling and Value Based Selling
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Scientific background with understanding of statistics and Chemistry
