What you'll do

  • You will be responsible to drive the Discovery Cytiva OEM/Custom Lab filtration business for standard and custom ranges in the designated territory with a strong focus on new and reoccurring Custom business to our biotech, academic, pharma and industrial customers.
  • You will be also responsible to work with the DAM/Discovery Sales Specialists to manage direct and indirect strategy for Lab Filtration support, motivate, train.
  • Create end user demand for both direct and indirect customers and spend at least 70% of time in the field
  • Motivate, encourage and support distributors to promote Lab filtration ranges in named key accounts
  • Sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users and decision makers
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Cytiva and competitive products.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions
  • Demonstrated ability for prioritization and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience of presentations to promote new business growth.

Who you are

  • Preferably +3 years of consultative sales experience
  • Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays
  • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Valid driving license
  • Fluent in English
  • Preferred; Experience in working with distributors
  • Robust interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team. Demonstrated ability for prioritization and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
