Program Manager, Cloud Adoption

What Is the Opportunity?
A highly visible role coordinating cloud adoption across all lines of business in RBC. Cloud adoption is one of the key strategic initiatives at RBC.

What Will You Do?

  • Working with all lines of business representatives in planning and tracking cloud adoption
  • Creating and contributing to strategic roadmaps, project plans, financial plans, governance structures and operating models
  • Managing Stakeholder communication
  • Presenting to stakeholders, including executives, as needed
  • Identifying, managing and tracking risks
  • Creating status reports
  • Creating, contributing and tracking metrics
  • Coordinating with the teams across enterprise and vendors for dependencies
  • Organizing and coordinating processes and procedures for all project teams to follow within the program.
  • Serving as a liaison and building bridges among project teams within the program. Translating corporate objectives into program objectives and practices.
  • Planning and monitoring program development to ensure that quality standards and goals are achieved.
  • Managing all aspects of an organizational program to ensure all projects within the program are implemented, accepted and accomplished within a set deadline.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

Must have:

  • 3+ years experience managing technical projects / programs
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing financial.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to execute projects on time.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publiclytraded corporation
  • Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers
