We are hiring a
Program Evaluation Analyst to lead our Performance Measurement Strategy.

This position will be primarily responsible for leading the Performance Management Strategy formulation processes and update processes to ensure that lessons learned from evaluations area adopted in a timely manner.

This is a data quality and performance measurement role reporting to the Research and Client Services Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

Program Evaluation

  • Develops an organizational understanding of evaluation as an accountability and learning process that must be conducted with an independent perspective, while working in close partnership with all stakeholders.
  • Identifies critical risk factors requiring attention, recommends programs or process changes, and ensures quality of services for our clients.
  • Provides methodological inputs for the design of impact evaluations, especially on statistical techniques and approaches under different situations.
  • Participates in internal peer reviews of evaluations, including reviewing draft evaluation reports and providing written comments to improve the overall quality of the evaluations.
Data Management and Data quality

  • Identifies data gaps and data quality issues, while working with management, system development, and research teams to improve collection, quality, and data structure.
  • Analyzes data and prepares reports to identify trends within and across all programs. Facilitates programspecific and crossprogram reviews and participates in development of evaluation processes.
  • Utilizing data analytics tools and data modeling processes to create and reduce manual data manipulation for reporting and optimizing data visualization.
  • Working with the software development team to optimize data collection, filter, deduplicate and clean data.

Education and Experience:

-
Master's degree in the Social Sciences, or related field, with strong social research experience, including qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation (or equivalent work experience).
-
2+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis in program evaluation.
- **SQL query generation and data analytics would be considered an asset.

Skills and Capabilities:

-
Experience in creating and managing Logic Models, Theory of Changes, or Performance Measurement tools.
-
High level of business knowledge, problem solving, sound judgment, and critical thinking skills.
-
Experience in cleaning, linking, creating, modifying, and analyzing datasets in a database management software.
- **Strong computer skills. Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word and CRM system/ database management (e.g., Salesforce).

Working Conditions:

_Working conditions are normal for an office environment, however, this position may also be required to provide assistance to front-line operations. This may include work in a warehouse setting, working outside and lifting up to 25 lbs. _
**_This is a regular, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday during regular business hours.
