We're in search of a National Control Tower Specialist to be a key player in our logistics operations. In this role, you'll be at the forefront, managing critical aspects of our supply chain network across North America.

Your responsibilities include utilizing advanced technology, such as Cloudhawk satellite tracking, to monitor Linehaul units, pre-alert destinations about potential disruptions, and communicate delayed flight departures.

Additionally, you'll ensure real-time visibility of customer shipments, manage ULD tracking through Cargojet, and maintain database tender times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Cloudhawk satellite tracking to monitor Linehaul units and notify destinations about potential delays.
  • Communicate delayed flight departures to destination terminals.
  • Provide realtime visibility to customer shipments using advanced tracking.
  • Manage ULD tracking through Cargojet.
  • Maintain Air database tender times accurately.
  • Collaborate with thirdparty vendors to manage mechanical issues.
  • Book and adjust Linehaul movements in SAP TM.
  • Proficiency in ECHO for issue triage.
  • Monitor trailer utilization via Qlikview.
  • Supervise system connectivity and network.
  • Oversee security system alarms and incidents.
  • Strong administrative and multitasking skills.
  • Track highpriority shipments and coordinate asset movements.
  • Liaison with carriers for ontime arrivals and dispute resolution.
  • Assist Network Planning with network activities.
  • Build reports from data collection.
  • Balance cost and service for improved client satisfaction.
  • Coach operations on tool usage and best practices.
  • Analyze data for improved customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Software: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite for reporting and communication purposes. Familiarity with SAPTM or similar tracking systems like TMW is highly desirable to facilitate effective monitoring and reporting.
  • Industry Knowledge: A solid grasp of the transportation industry and logistics is advantageous for effective decisionmaking and problemsolving in this role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills are needed to manage the various responsibilities and data associated with the position.
  • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to a fastpaced and everchanging transportation environment is key to success in this role.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail are essential for accurate tracking and reporting in this critical logistics position.
