About the Job:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Mitrex Packing Manager & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for creating, analyzing, and managing packing plans for client delivery.

They will focus on warehouse packing and organizing for the most effective logistical procedures, ensuring efficient and quality controlled transportation.

The role requires maintaining a positive cohesive relationship with the production team, and supply chain managers to ensure maximum satisfaction for our customers with minimal cost impact.

Experience in glass, window wall and curtain wall warehouse product shipping and logistics is essential for this role on our team.

The ideal candidate understands how solar glass skids should be shipped, branded, and organized for improved company and client satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and implement packing plans for client delivery.
Coordinate with the production team and supply chain managers to ensure smooth operations.
Optimize warehouse packing and organizing procedures for shipping in unity with our supply chain managers
Manage quality control of materials received from vendors
Manage quality control of products shipped to site
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding packing and shipping processes.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of packed materials and shipments.
Evaluates onsite receiving zone for best delivery practices.

Candidate Qualifications:

Proven experience in packing and shipping coordination.
Experience in glass shipping and logistics or window wall and curtain wall warehouse product shipping.
Knowledge of packing techniques and materials.
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and quality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities utilizing the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).
Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.
Excellent knowledge of canadian onsite material delivery best practices
