Position Overview

Are you a strategic Human Resources leader with a proven track record of aligning HR initiatives with business goals? Tripemco Insurance Group is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our executive team as a Senior Human Resource Generalist. Reporting directly to the President working along side our Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing HR strategies and driving organizational success.

What we offer:

  • Salary - $75,000 per year.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a Generalist role.
  • HR certification CHRP or CHRL designation
  • Entrepreneurial passion and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Project management skills from concept to achievement.
  • Proven project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of employment legislation.
  • Strong computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and critical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven success in aligning HR strategies with business goals and driving organizational success.
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, talent acquisition, and organizational development.
  • Previous leadership positions with responsibility for HR functions
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and business acumen skills.
  • Ability to multitask and oversee multiple initiatives

What you will do:

Strategic Business Partner:

  • Act as a key advisor to the President, providing HR insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Facilitate strategic planning action plans and coach all to completion
  • Create and monitor strategic corporate scorecard
  • Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the overall business performance and employee experience.

Organizational Development:

  • Drive organizational development initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing employee skills and competencies to drive business success.
  • Collaborate with business leaders on change management initiatives and organizational effectiveness.

Performance Management:

  • Design and implement performance management processes, ensuring they are aligned with business goals.
  • Provide leadership and support to managers in setting performance expectations and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Analyze performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring the acquisition of top talent to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the organization's growth plans.
  • Lead comprehensive onboarding programs to integrate new hires seamlessly into the business.

Compliance and Policy Development:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all HR activities, including health and safety.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legal requirements and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees and managers on compliance matters.

HR Administration:

  • Manage HR administrative functions such as employee records, benefits administration, and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all HR administrative processes.
  • Streamline HR processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Training:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and compliance awareness.
  • Identify training needs and deliver targeted programs to address skill gaps and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and adjust as necessary to ensure compliance and meet business objectives.

Possible Multi-Site Management:

  • Manage HR functions across multiple sites, ensuring consistency in policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a unified and cohesive organizational culture across sites.
  • Travel to various locations as needed to build relationships and address HR-related matters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 per year
