Responsibilities:
Works in partnership with clients, advising them on information technology in order to meet their business objectives or overcome problems, work to improve structure and efficiency of an organization's I&IT systems.
The I&IT Consultant may be used to provide strategic guidance to organizations with regard to Information Management & IT technology, IT infrastructures and the enablement of major business processes through enhancements to IT.
General Skills:
- Acts as the technical advisor/expert on all aspects of a specific deliverable
- Provide the quality assurance/quality control of specific deliverables
- Anticipates and resolves problems to ensure that the deliverables are completed within budget, to the highest quality, meeting or exceeding expectations
- Develops processes and procedures for implementing deliverables
- Prepares reports and presentations including options, recommendations, implementation plans, etc.
- Works with clients to define the scope of a project and to determine requirements
- Defines software, hardware and network requirements
- Analyzes I&IT requirements giving independent and objective advice on the use of I&IT
- Designs, tests, installs and monitors new systems and develops solutions and implementation of new systems
- Familiar with changemanagement principles and methodology
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices
Experience and Skills Requirements
Please note this role is part of a Hybrid Work Arrangement and resource(s) will be required to work at a minimum of 1 days per week at 5700 Yonge St.
Technical Knowledge and experience - 50%
- Hands-on in EBS Upgrade especially from to R12.2.10
- Hand-on experience in Cross-platform database and EBS migration.
- Hands-on experience in configuring EBS with SSO with knowledge of Webgate and Access gate
- Expertise in Database Administration with database 19c, ASM/RAC, RU DB & Grid Patching and excellent independent troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise in EBS Administration including Patching, Cloning, Java, and concurrent manager troubleshooting.
- Experience in Weblogic installation, administration, and Patching.
- Hands-on experience in Apache configuration, TLS 1.2, JWS.
Methodology, testing, and troubleshooting - 30%
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Experience working in agile development environment
- Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
- Contribute to the effective management of risks and issues associated with Solution designs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional and distributed teams, including designers, developers, architects, project managers, and QA
- Promotes industry standards and best practices with the product teams.
- Perform thorough code reviews including unit tests and ensure high quality of the software.
- Fix defects and support developers, testers and end users
Planning, documentation, and communication - 20%
- Prepare work plans with CYSSC Managers, report and adjust completion status, report issues and risks in a timely manner
- Write technical documentation that supports and thoroughly explains the architecture
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on the work completed
