L'Association des laboratoires régionaux de l'Est de l'Ontario (ALREO) est actuellement à la recherche d'un assistant des pathologistes à temps plein pour se joindre à notre équipe. Ce poste sera responsables de la gestion de la réception, de l'enregistrement et de la préparation des échantillons pour les essais diagnostiques, l'analyse, l'interprétation ainsi que la production de rapports sur les résultats des échantillons cliniques et de pathologie. Il doit aussi aider à la formation. Il doit identifier les spécimens qui ne conviennent pas et prendre des décisions connexes, en plus de conserver des dossiers sur les essais effectués et les procédures appliquées. De plus, il peut devoir remplir différentes fonctions particulières.
Quel est l'ALREO?
L'ALREO est un organisme à but non lucratif composé de membres qui regroupe l'exploitation de 18 laboratoires cliniques de soins aigus agréés en milieu hospitalier qui offrent des programmes cliniques dans la région de Champlain, dans l'est de l'Ontario. Les laboratoires de l'ALREO fournissent des tests de diagnostic aux patients hospitalisés et externes, effectuant environ 13 millions de tests par an. L'ALREO effectue des gammes complètes de tests dans les disciplines de l'anatomopathologie, la biochimie, la médecine transfusionnelle, l'hématopathologie et la microbiologie/la virologie.

Exigences pré-requis
- Certifié par le Conseil canadien de la certification des assistants en pathologie (CCCAP);
- Au moins six mois ou un an d'expérience dans l'analyse macroscopique d'échantillons de cancer complexes;
- Connaissance des normes d'accréditation pertinentes, des règlements sur les soins médicaux pertinents ainsi que de la théorie, des principes et des pratiques de laboratoire médical;
- Compréhension des lois relatives à la santé et à la sécurité au travail applicables;
- Bonnes compétences de communication et interpersonnelles;
- Bonnes compétences de résolution de problèmes et de conflits.
À titre de condition pré-emploi, tout nouvel employé de l'ALREO doit soumettre un rapport de vérification d'antécédents criminels conforme, et daté de moins de six (6) mois à compter de la date d'émission.
