Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Pathologists' Assistant to join our Pathology Department. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing sample reception, performing diagnostic testing, and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory. This position offers exposure to a wide range of complex surgical specimens and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Work Schedule

This position involves day and evening shifts, including weekends, with a standard 8-hour workday. Shifts may be subject to change based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • Certified by the Canadian Council for Pathology Accreditation (CCCPA)
  • Proven experience handling cancer cases
  • In-depth knowledge of laboratory regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities

Candidates currently pursuing CCCPA certification will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
