**Job Description Summary**:
Assists with managing multiple or complex engineering prototyping projects involving multiple functions, organizations, products, or value chains.

As the Peck Tech Digital Technology Project Team Leader, you will provide project management and strategic leadership to a cross functional team consisting of software and hardware teams that deliver voice of customer driven prototype solutions to define customer functional requirements through prototype deployment, integration, testing, verification, and validation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Capturing customer requirements to generate prototype commercial proposals.
- Assist with developing project scope to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Coordinating resources across sales and marketing, product development groups, value chain and manufacturing.
- Overseeing project progress and costs; communicating status with stakeholders and participating functional areas; addressing and resolving problems.
- Communicate validated customer functional requirements to Caterpillar MineStar and extended NPI processes.
- Directing project staffing; motivating and developing project team and team members.
- Provide engineering input for projects when required.
- Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement in Peck Tech processes.

**Degree Requirement**:

- Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering with Mechanical option or Master of Science in Mining Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in mining technology digital prototype project management.
- Engineering focused project management and prototype development team leadership experience.
- Experience with mining processes, especially related to autonomous drilling and blasting.
- Experience in generating commercial proposals.
- Ability to work in remote mining areas.
- Excellent PC and IT skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Sales and presentation experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers to explain the product in a technical manner during sales presentations.
- Caterpillar dealer experience.

**Additional information**:

- The preferred location for this position is in Montreal.
- Domestic relocation assistance is not available.
- This position may require 33% to 50% travel.

- Coordonner les ressources entre les ventes et le marketing, les groupes de développement de produits, la chaîne de valeur et la fabrication.
- Superviser l'avancement et les coûts du projet ; communiquer le statut aux parties prenantes et aux domaines fonctionnels participants ; aborder et résoudre les problèmes.
- Communiquer les exigences fonctionnelles validées du client à Caterpillar MineStar et aux processus NPI étendus.
- Diriger la dotation en personnel du projet ; motiver et développer l'équipe de projet et les membres de l'équipe.
- Fournir une contribution technique aux projets lorsque cela est nécessaire.
- Identifier et exécuter les opportunités d'amélioration continue des processus Peck Tech.

**Exigence de diplôme**:

- Baccalauréat Scientifique en Génie Minier avec option mécanique or Maitrise Scientifique en Génie Minier
- Plus de 8 ans d'expérience dans la gestion de projets de prototypes numériques de technologie minière.
- Expérience en gestion de projet axée sur l'ingénierie et en leadership d'équipe de développement de prototypes.
- Expérience avec les processus miniers, notamment liés au forage et au dynamitage autonomes.
