DevOps Specialist - IT


If you've taken a plane to any destination in the world, chances are, your pilot was trained by a CAE product.

The role we offer:

  • Set up and ensure the maintenance of DevOps pipelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for all phases of development, up to delivery of the final product
  • Design and automate simple, manual steps iterated in small steps through automated testing and continuous integration
  • Identify issues before they impact the customer and quickly mitigate issues as they arise
  • Communicate and collaborate with IT teams about innovations associated with the DevOps methodology
  • Be a change agent and a promoter of Agile and DevOps methodologies

  • Competence in planning and organization of work
  • Ability to enforce processes and influence developers who are not direct reports
  • Fluency in English and French (oral and written)
Technical skills

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Indepth knowledge of the software development lifecycle and indepth experience with various automation tools including Azure DevOps or equivalent
  • Practical experience in implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI / CD) processes
  • Experience in developing and maintaining scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash or equivalent
  • Experience with Git, Git flow, C #, C / C ++
  • Experience in unit testing and automated functional testing
  • Working knowledge of Dockers and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Practical experience with ASP.NET MVC and.
Net Core

  • Working knowledge in creating REST services and executables required for the Devops processes
