Purpose:

The selected individual will be in charge of defining the sales strategy for Private Banking teams across multiple markets. They will lead the efforts to attract and grow the business, emphasizing onshore and offshore client needs. Acting as an ambassador internally, they will elevate brand recognition and market presence.

  • Establish sales strategies and targets for Private Banking teams
  • Supervise the development of wealth managers to enhance profitability
  • Drive strategies to acquire new customers and expand market share
  • Implement sales management processes to boost productivity
  • Foster business development relationships and lead partnership projects
  • Utilize analytical methods to measure business performance and enhance sales strategies

Focus on Client Satisfaction:

  • Lead teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Leverage deep market knowledge to support business development goals
  • Engage with Marketing and Relationship Management teams to improve client satisfaction

Financial Management:

  • Contribute to the growth and retention of clients
  • Develop long-term strategies for client base growth
  • Design reward strategies to motivate staff

Sales and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a new sales management strategy
  • Support sales teams in understanding Private Banking offerings
  • Enhance sales performance with management tools and enablers

Talent Development:

  • Create a high-performance environment
  • Implement strategies to attract, retain, and motivate team members

Leadership and Governance:

  • Ensure quality client service
  • Review new business activities
  • Adhere to security and compliance procedures
  • Review customer transactions for compliance
  • Participate in AML/ATF reporting

IWM Strategy:

  • Contribute to Scotiabank's offshore client offering
  • Manage client segments and incentive frameworks
  • Understand client segments including HNW and UHNW

Key Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management products
  • Experience leading large teams
  • Strong sales and service design skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools
  • MBA or business degree
