Purpose:

The Director will lead the Private Banking sales strategy and objectives across various markets to attract and grow business, surpassing sales targets and enhancing brand recognition.

  • Sets sales strategy and goals for Private Banking teams
  • Develops commercial disciplines for wealth managers
  • Identifies business development relationships and leads partnership projects
  • Designs analytical techniques to measure performance and improve sales strategies
  • Leads performance tracking and develops methodologies to measure business success
  • Creates customer journeys and lifecycle strategies to drive revenue growth

Client-Centric Focus:

Manages sales leaders and teams to deliver exceptional client experiences, develops expert knowledge of clients and market trends, and fosters client-centric culture.

  • Demonstrates deep market knowledge and relationships within the private banking sector
  • Engages with Marketing and Relationship Management teams to enhance client satisfaction

P & L Management:

  • Contributions to the business growth, client growth, and retention goals of IPB
  • Develops multi-year plans for profitable client base growth
  • Designs reward and recognition strategies to motivate staff

Sales and Strategy Support:

  • Orchestrates sales development objectives and business plans
  • Develops strong relationships with relevant partners
  • Implements new Sales Management strategies and frameworks

Talent Management:

  • Creates an environment for effective operations and team development
  • Attracts, retains, and motivates team members through inclusive leadership

Leadership and Governance:

  • Ensures superior client service, efficient operations, and compliance with regulations
  • Reviews new business and adheres to security procedures
  • Familiar with KYC and AML/ATF policies

IWM Strategy and Adoption:

  • Contributes to multiyear strategy adoption and incentive framework management
  • Understands client segments including HNW and UHNW

Skills for Success:

  • Knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management products and services
  • Strong sales and service design concepts understanding
  • Proven leadership experience in a customer-oriented environment
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
