Channel sales director responsibilities include:

  • Create strategic plan for Channel Department with clear goals and objectives, and report progress quarterly.
  • Set short- and long-term channel sales strategies, evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Direct and oversee channel sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of Channel partners in identified territories for various verticals.
  • Collaborate with departments like Marketing, Global, EdTech, Partners Success, R&D, Sales, and Telecom to ensure market fit in target territories.
  • Execute marketing campaigns, progress leads, and analyze post-program ROI.
  • Develop co-marketing business plans for growth with existing Channel partners.
  • Allocate channel budget, assess ROI of investments.
  • Establish sales process, CRM processes, and rules for distribution and channel partner sales.
  • Lead sales initiatives in identified territories, driving sales through appropriate Channel Ecosystem.
  • Work with Partners Success to ensure exceptional client ROI through metrics-based results.
  • Require minimum 8-12 years of experience.
