Product Manager based in the Greater Vancouver area.

  • NOTE: This is a hybrid role where the incumbent will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in our Richmond office.

About the Opportunity:


As a member of the Product Management Department and reporting to Head of Traffic Safety Business Unit, you will be responsible for working with the Product Management group and collaborating with the project delivery and development groups to collectively maintain the quality of and guide the vision for the products within the business unit.


In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Oversee all external activities related to the traffic safety products;
  • Work with the product management team to support and influence product vision and strategy;
  • Act as liaison between customers / end users and product development team;
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of transportation safety industry standards, trends, and competitive landscape;
  • Support the product sales team throughout the sales cycle, including presales, internal product training, project delivery, and customer satisfaction;
  • Work closely with the product marketing manager to position the products in the market strategically and effectively;
  • Support the project delivery team by acting as a liaison between project delivery and product development.

About You:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, transportation safety, or similar related position;
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent preferred;
  • Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain license within reasonable timeframe) ;
  • Experience in consulting, technical training, public engagement, or other customerfacing roles.;
  • Experience in project delivery, project management, or other related activities;
  • Experience in a technology organization is a plus;
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully with crossfunctional teams;
  • You have problemsolving skills to identify issues and solve them tactfully;
  • You are able to prioritize and handle tasks in a timely manner;
  • You are a strong team player as well as ability to work independently;
  • You have strong organizational and facilitation skills, as well as being trustworthy and detail oriented;
  • You are selfmotivated and driven to be successful.
