THE POSITIONPicture yourself showcasing your exceptional skills in a dynamic deployed environment for six months at a retail store catering to the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations worldwide. As a Retail Coordinator and Supervisor, you play a vital role in not just offering retail services but also boosting the morale and well-being of all deployed troops.
As part of a passionate team, you will oversee the distribution of merchandise, manage stock levels, plan shipping and receiving, and implement loss prevention controls. In addition, effective inventory management, understanding financial statements, and maintaining supply chains are key aspects of this role.
The Supervisor, selected from the Coordinator pool, leads the retail team and operations, enforcing standards, managing finances, and ensuring safety and security measures are upheld.
Being a Retail Coordinator/Supervisor involves assisting in recreational activities for CAF members and partner nations, contributing to maintaining high morale, enhancing mental and physical readiness, and promoting balanced living.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certifications, and Licenses

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Successful candidates will undergo paid training focused on job expectations, technical skills, and military processes. Conditions of employment include health assessments, background checks, CPR/First Aid, unconventional work hours, and physical demands. Deployment is open to internal and external applicants, subject to meeting specific requirements.
Start dates for deployments are forthcoming within the next 2 years, with contracts lasting 6 months. Recruitment is national, offering positions at the listed deployment location.
