About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Supervisor to join our team at Real Canadian Superstore. As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and coaching to sales associates to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Work Setting: Retail business environment.
  • Specialization or Experience: Green economy sector experience an asset.
