The Business Analyst will work closely with teammates and customers to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications for technology or process changes.

Overall, a business analyst plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

You will be working closely with our Director of Operations to complete tasks such as:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to endusers.
  • Create and maintain reporting systems from SaaS generated data to management stakeholders.

Required qualifications

  • Post secondary education in business, IT, economics, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to convey complex technical knowledge to nontechnical audiences

Desired qualifications

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Experience with Jira, MAKE, and/or Google Workspace
