About the RoleThe Business Analyst 1 performs a variety of activities, including leading collaborative sessions with diverse business groups, identifying business challenges and opportunities for improvement, and providing resolution through analysis to make strategic/tactical recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead collaborative sessions with diverse business groups to identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement
- Provide resolution through analysis to make strategic/tactical recommendations
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and documentation of business and project requirements
- Provide business analysis expertise to identify, plan, and execute key business improvements to automate or improve processes
- Enhance customer experience by driving strategic transformational change
- Prepare reports, presentations, and statistical analysis to document achievements and the status of ongoing activities
- Completion of a university degree at the Bachelor's level in computer science or a related discipline (such as Business Administration)
- Some related systems or process analysis experience (such as Lean/Six Sigma)
- Working knowledge of the principles, methodologies, tools, and standards applicable to business analysis and process planning
- Ability to analyze and evaluate various data and information, develop logical solutions for assigned problems, and assess the implications of proposed changes
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external contacts
- Experience with Microsoft applications (such as Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Word)
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or related tools such as value stream mapping, time studies, or statistical data analysis
