The Manager will assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of the program goals to meet the fiscal operational targets. Please note on-call duties will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Completion of a Medical Radiation Technologist program from an accredited University/College (preferable)
  • Current registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and OARM (preferable)
  • Three to five years managerial/leadership experience
  • Recent relevant clinical experience
  • Dynamic interpersonal and leadership skills including critical thinking, communication, responsiveness, conflict resolution, change management, customer service and problemsolving
  • Flexible, selfdirected and able to work effectively with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to respond to large numbers of simultaneous demands from multiple key stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze information/data to guide decisions to support the department in the delivery of a safe, effective, efficient, innovative and high level of quality service
  • Ability to lead a cohesive team through engagement, transparency, respect and responsiveness
  • Demonstrated commitment to an exceptional patient experience including access, flow, quality and patient satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, interpret date and utilize information to make effective financial and operational decisions
  • Experience in the analysis and utilization of data to drive continuous quality improvement
  • Experience in the management of risk and safety for patients, visitors and staff
  • Proven experience building external and community partnerships
  • Working knowledge of the Public Hospitals Act, role of Cancer Care Ontario, regulation legislation, labour agreements, hospital policies and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in an unionized environment
  • Project management, Leadership, Healthcare Finance LEAN or other related certifications will be an asset
  • Effectively able to provide a positive team environment in which members participate, respect and cooperate with each other to achieve desired outcomes (Leadership and Lean Training)
  • Evidence of commitment to continuous education
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, teambuilding and the ability to initiate and model positive change
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required
