QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required (in a health related discipline, Business preferred).
  • Two years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting and/or in a formal Quality Improvement Role and/or active involvement in leading Quality or Risk related initiatives.
  • An introductory knowledge of quality improvement methodology (eg. Six Sigma), Project Management certificate, privacy and or knowledge of risk in health system is an asset.
  • Current registration with a health professional regulatory body and/or be a member in good standing with a professional association preferred.
Experience with performance measurement and data reporting

  • Introductory knowledge of Quality Improvement tools (eg. process mapping/flow diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, pareto charts, creativity methods, affinity diagrams, force field analysis, tree diagram, FMEA, etc.) and the IHI Model for Improvement.
  • Must have highly developed and effective customer service skills including: organizational, interpersonal, communication, and effective in working directly with consumers an asset
  • Advanced computer skills and ability to work comfortably with spreadsheets, presentations, diagramming and word processing software (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word).
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
  • Consistent and regular attendance required
  • Vaccines (COVID19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code
