Joining the Social Purpose & Marketing Division (SP&M) means you'll be working with a group of talented professionals in Social Purpose, Community & Stakeholder Engagement, Communications & Government Relations, Marketing, CRM & Loyalty, and Customer Support.

The Enterprise Marketing department delivers all marketing for BCLC including lotteries, casinos, online gambling, sports betting, corporate marketing and more.

The department also delivers marketing for online gambling in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Enterprise Marketing Planning team is pivotal to setting the overarching strategic marketing vision, direction, and goals for the business.

We are business partners to BCLC's extensive network, including but not limited to Product, Operations, Player Health, and external partners.

We've built a strong and supportive community within our team, and we take pride in bridging various parts of the business for alignment to help deliver the best plans and outcomes for our players and partners.

As a team, we also work in lockstep with the many marketing disciplines within an Agile framework to imagine the best ways to attract and motivate consumers to responsibly play with BCLC.


The Senior Manager, Marketing Planning and Account Management develops the overall marketing strategies and manages the intake, prioritization, planning and scheduling of all marketing activities within BC, and for online gambling in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The role works collaboratively with other marketing leaders to ensure that Marketing is effectively delivering against plan while working with an enterprise approach to deliver on multi-faceted objectives.

This role leads and influences through change while effectively building, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders, such as B2B clients, agencies and consultants.


You will develop the overall enterprise marketing strategy in collaboration with marketing leadership in brand and advertising, media, experience, content marketing, CRM, social and promotions.

You will review marketing landscape, trends and competition and share insights with the various marketing teams in developing specific marketing strategies.

You will work closely with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and marketing leadership to lead marketing intake, determine marketing outcomes, assess and prioritize incoming work and breakdown work for each agile marketing team.

You will lead a team of Marketing professionals in Planning, ensuring that this capability area is constantly evolving, team members are coached and provided opportunities for upskilling and development.

You will identify systemic challenges in the current state and collaborate with marketing leadership to build solutions and establish foundations that will support the agile operating model, processes and ways of working.

You will oversee the enterprise marketing budget and report on spending to plan. You will work with other marketing leaders to develop the annual budget and reallocate as needed throughout the year. Develop and manages business case investments for new initiatives/expenditures, and make high risk financial decisions.

You will lead marketing outcomes, work with internal teams to set marketing targets and provide regular updates to senior leadership on marketing performance and overall results.

You will oversee and manage the marketing strategy, roadmap, execution and relationship with B2B clients in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

You model leadership behaviours that support engagement of teams and key stakeholders such as effective resource planning, decision-making support, promoting teamwork, performance management, and sharing results frequently.

You have extensive marketing experience and expertise, with demonstrated competency and proven results in the areas of marketing strategy, marketing planning, account management and business planning.

You have exceptional leadership and team building experience with a proven ability to build trust, buy-in, motivate, collaborate, coach and develop your teams.

You are able to manage stakeholder expectations by prioritizing work and resources and ensuring that business value remains at the forefront of your decision-making process.

You inspire creativity, innovation and create high impact strategies that lead the organization to reach new levels of marketing performance.

You have experience in business planning in a leadership capacity.

You are able to pivot and provide clear direction to the team to execute and deliver on the overarching marketing strategies.

You have a university degree in business, marketing or communications.
Experience in the gaming industry (online casino or sportsbook, physical casino).
Experience in performance marketing and digital metrics for eCommerce platforms.
Experience with Agile frameworks.
