Responsibilities:

  • Able to analyze equipment malfunctions, repair and maintain company equipment Inspect and perform diagnostics on equipment
  • Qualified to efficiently repair hydraulic equipment
  • Able to dismantle and reassemble large company truck equipment
  • Maintain history of all equipment service records and logs.
  • Detailed, organized and safety conscious
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Able to use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs
  • All supplies and consumables provided by the company
  • Able to perform repairs in different environmental settings such as in repair shop or on a job site

Requirements:

  • Completion of college/vocational or technical training
  • Minimum 25 years' experience as a Heavy Equipment field mechanic
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment
  • Experience with routine maintenance operations
  • Own tools
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Produce a clean drivers abstract
  • Willingness to work in all types of weather and temperatures
  • Willingness to work assigned night or day shifts, with the flexibility to work long shifts
  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 kg.
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors, coworkers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
