We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at 12082799 Canada Inc.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods
- Address customer complaints or concerns
- Arrange travel and make reservations
- Perform preventive maintenance on the vehicle
- Inspect the vehicle's condition and report any issues
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
- DZ class license
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight
- Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment
- Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying locations. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
