Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements
  • DZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willing to travel for extended periods
  • Willing to travel overnight

Work Environment
