Cook Roles & Responsibilities

  • Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • Pay great attention to detail and presentation of every dish that leaves the kitchen
  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment at all times
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Check quality of ingredients
  • Monitor stock and help place orders when there are shortages

Requirements and skills

  • Previous experience in the kitchen as cook or food handler
  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
  • Ability to follow instructions and get things done in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Very good communication skills
